As Practically Family, everything we do comes from a place of warmth and understanding. We know how hard it can be when work has to come before play, and we know you’d swap places with us in a heartbeat. We take that responsibility seriously. So let us take them on the adventures, learn the dance routines and hunt for treasure – guilt-free. This is the holiday club they’ll run through the gate for.

We’re based at local schools in and around Stockport, caring for children from 3 to 11. That means siblings can spend their holidays together, whatever their ages or interests, and you won't have to juggle multiple drop-offs on an already busy day. And because life doesn't always run to plan, we offer flexible booking options to fit around you. Book a few days cover or the whole summer – whatever works for your family.

We’re experts at creating spaces where little ones feel secure, big ones feel trusted and everyone gets to join in without feeling out of place.

For our 3–4 year olds, everything is delivered with the care and oversight you’d expect from an Ofsted-registered setting. We follow the EYFS Statutory Framework, with a nurturing team and gentle routines that help them settle, explore and flourish.

For our older Clubbers, mixed-age play is a bonus, not a burden. They enjoy the freedom to roam, lead and be independent, while also the chance to dive back into pure, uncomplicated play - without the pressure of “acting grown up.” Shared activities bring different ages together naturally, while quiet corners and breakout spaces give children room to recharge whenever they need it.
