February Folk

Myths, Legends & Play

Our February Folk theme takes half term to legendary levels. It's time to step out of hibernation, blow away the winter cobwebs and get ready for fun, fun, fun with an extra sprinkle of magic. From woodland quests and potion mixing to crafty creations and tall tales, our February half term Holiday Clubs are buzzing with folklore fun.

Every day is a new tale

During February Folk, children aged 3–11 dive into a world of stories, legends and mythical traditions at our Stockport-based Holiday Clubs.

Outdoors, Clubbers roam like Robin Hood’s band, building dens, hunting for treasure, climbing trees and gathering around our ‘campfires’ for tales and hot chocolate. Indoors, the magic continues with folk-inspired activities: crafting wands, designing “Wanted” posters for outlaws, mixing potions and creating enchanted art to take home.

It’s a week where the folk-lore meets fun-lots-more with sports, messy play, team games and spell-tacular time with friends. With so much variety, every child finds their place in the story, whether they’re bold adventurers or thoughtful creators.

Give them the adventure folklores are made of.
