If you’re looking to add that special touch to your Coronation celebration picnic or party, there’s nothing sweeter than getting the kids busy making homemade decorations. Bunting is easy enough to make from scratch but if you’re looking for something super simple why not try these free printable templates the kids can colour in themselves. Don’t stop there though - get the kiddos working on their fine motor skills by cutting out paper strips of red, white and blue that they can make into colourful paper chains. If you want your celebrations to go with a bit of a bang then why not give these Union Jack party poppers a try? Simple but effective, they add a lovely burst of colour and are lots of fun to make (and pop) too!



Coronation Crafts Everyone Will Want to Wear

Homemade crowns are *the* perfect accessory to wear for the Coronation (whatever your age). Surprisingly easy to make, simply choose a design and with brightly coloured card, a selection of stick on-jewels and lots of glitter, let your little royal wannabe craft their perfect crown!

Once the crowns are finished, why not add some extra oomph to your Coronation outfits with these super cute Coronation medals. We love immersing the kids in history and King Charles’ Coronation is a great opportunity to get the kids involved with this big occasion. Why not make a time capsule of this historic moment that your family can open in the future? Collecting memorabilia like newspaper clippings, souvenir objects and items over this special time is a wonderful way to get kids thinking about what to include about this historic event.
